The parish council intends to modify the current Quainton Neighbourhood Plan (QNP)

A Neighbourhood Plan is a community-led framework for guiding the future development and growth of an area. It may contain a vision, aims, planning policies, proposals for protecting the environment, the maintaining of facilities, or allocation of sites for development. It forms part of the local authority Local Plan.

The modification will ensure the QNP accords with the new strategic policies and goals of the emerging Buckinghamshire Local Plan.

The modified QNP will seek to ensure any new housing development is in the right place, is of exceptional design, and meets the essential needs of the Quainton community.

The QNP changes will be subject to a formal consultation process where you can have your say on what is proposed, and details of the consultation will be advertised in due course.
