Latest update on the Modifications to the Quainton Neighbourhood Plan
The Parish Council wishes to modify the Quainton Neighbourhood
Development Plan (QNDP) which will be known as the Quainton Neighbourhood Plan (QNP).
A public consultation under Regulation 14 of the Neighbourhood Planning Regulations ran from 17th December 2020 to 19th February 2021. The Quainton Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group have since reviewed all comments and responded to each consultee where a response or a clarification was required.
The results of the consultation are be recorded in a Consultation Statement published below.
In May 2021, the modified QNP was submitted to Buckinghamshire Council to assess if the Plan required a Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA), and on October 2021 the parish council were advised an SEA was not required.
The Plan, along with other required documents has been submitted to Buckinghamshire Council to be put forward for independent examination under Regulation 15 of the Neighbourhood Planning Regulations with further consultation under Regulation 16.
The examiner will determine if the the modified Plan meets the Basic Conditions, and if the changes are so significant as to require a referendum before the Plan may be "made".
